LJ Cormier is Auburn’s freshman bullpen weapon with swing-and-miss stuff
In the 2026 season, LJ Cormier emerged as one of Auburn’s most reliable relievers, finishing with a 2.50 ERA, 63 strikeouts, and just 12 walks in 50.1 innings while earning Freshman All-America honors. He’s been especially nasty in SEC and postseason spots, with multiple scoreless multi-inning outings and a career-high eight strikeouts in Auburn’s NCAA Regional win over Milwaukee. The appeal is simple: he attacks, misses bats, and can handle leverage innings like a grown-up. If you want a fearless RHP who already looks built for big moments, Cormier is a very good fit.
