Akron CB Jalen Hooks: Long, Physical Corner with NFL-Style Size
Jalen Hooks is an intriguing Akron cornerback because he brings the kind of length and physical profile that can translate well to press coverage and contested-rep defense, which is why he showed up as a 2023 NFL Draft prospect from Akron. Reliable public scouting detail is limited in the available results, so the strongest takeaway is his upside as a developmental CB who could fit a defense valuing size, toughness, and special-teams utility more than immediate ball production.
