In the 2025 season, Jake Triptree showed efficient but limited production for New Haven, completing 6 of 8 passes for 15 yards and a touchdown-free, interception-free line with a 132.0 passer rating, while the ESPN log also shows a 3-for-3, 9-yard outing in limited action.[4][1] At 6-foot-1 and 210 pounds, he brings a compact, physical frame and enough mobility to add a few rushing yards when called upon.[1][3] He looks more like a developmental fit than an immediate centerpiece, but the clean decision-making and ball security are the clearest reasons a coach would keep him on the radar.[4][3]
