Matt Betley brings steady two-way value for Lafayette
Matt Betley is a reliable Lafayette forward whose best traits are toughness, rebounding, and all-around consistency; in 2007-08 he averaged 11.3 points and 5.8 rebounds per game as team captain and was named Patriot League Scholar-Athlete of the Year. He also battled injury while still playing all 30 games in a later season and led the team in scoring and rebounding, which points to a high-motor, team-first player who can help a roster with effort, intelligence, and floor balance.
