Andrae Brooks Brings Local Grit and Developmental Upside to Eastern Michigan’s Secondary
Andrae Brooks is a sophomore DB from Ypsilanti, Michigan, on Eastern Michigan’s roster for the 2025 season, which gives him a real homegrown-chip-on-the-shoulder vibe[1]. His edge is less about flashy stat lines and more about fit: a local defender with the kind of background EMU can mold into a reliable, physical back-end piece. If you need a corner or safety who should play with energy, familiarity, and buy-in, Brooks is the kind of developmental add that can quietly turn into a useful depth-and-special-teams weapon.
