Sam Thompson brings underdog toughness and steady leadership to Coastal Carolina’s offensive line
Thompson is a proven, high-motor center who started every game in a standout season at Coastal Carolina, anchoring an offense that ranked among the nation’s better scoring and rushing units in 2020. His biggest differentiator is not size but technique, toughness, and consistency: he has been described as a two-year starting senior center who leads by example, with 17 knockdown blocks in one season and the kind of durability teams love up front. If you want a center who can keep an offense organized and competitive, he fits.
