Cameron Wells brings veteran point-guard IQ and program-record playmaking to The Citadel
Cameron Wells is best known as a high-IQ floor general whose calling card was **playmaking, pace control, and leadership**; he finished his Citadel career as the program’s **all-time assists leader (485)** and **second in steals**, underscoring the kind of two-way guard impact that translates beyond box scores. [3] [6] He is now listed as an **assistant coach** at The Citadel rather than an active player, so the relevant takeaway is his experience and on-court vision—useful context if you’re evaluating the program’s guard development or coaching fit.
