a local Baltimore arm with real bullpen upside for Towson
Alex Cromwell is a redshirt sophomore right-handed pitcher for Towson in the 2026 season, listed at 6-foot-2, 190 pounds, and he brings a Baltimore/St. Paul’s pedigree that usually comes with strike-throwing grit and a competitive edge[1][6]. Publicly available 2026 stat data is limited, but his profile shows early-career mound work, and his development track plus continued role on the roster suggest a pitcher still building into his frame and stuff rather than a finished product[3][6]. If you want a homegrown arm with size, upside, and the kind of under-the-radar toughness that can grow into innings, he’s worth a look[1][6].
