MEAC Pitching Powerhouse with National All-Tourney Honors
Madeline Janssen is a dominant right-handed pitcher for North Carolina Central, ranking second in MEAC innings (70.0) and third in strikeouts (48) in the 2026 season, while earning NFCA Leadoff Classic All-Tournament honors despite a 0-2 start, showcasing elite resilience and intensity that transcends her ERA. Her differentiator is her fearless, high-stakes mentality—she fired a two-hitter and no-hitter in MEAC games and struck out five in a tight loss while walking six, proving she competes at maximum intensity even under pressure. With a 3.50 ERA and 12 strikeouts in 14 innings at the Leadoff Classic, she’s a proven fit for teams needing a battle-tested, national-recognition pitcher who thrives in high-leverage moments, not just stats.
