Redshirt Sophomore LB with Special Teams Grit for FAU
Cameron Syblis is a 6'1", 225-lb redshirt sophomore linebacker for the Florida Atlantic Owls whose primary differentiator is his **special teams intensity** rather than defensive volume. In the 2018 season, he saw action in the Bethune game and recorded a **special teams tackle**, totaling just 1 solo tackle overall [1][2]. While his statistical footprint is minimal, his **physical profile** (6'1", 225 lbs) and **redshirt status** suggest he is a developmental player with room to grow into a larger defensive role [3]. He is a **high-effort, niche fit** for teams needing a reliable special teams contributor who brings physicality and hustle, though he is not yet a primary defensive stat leader [2]. His background from Nature Coast Technical High School and Spring Hill, Fla., indicates a solid regional recruiting foundation [3][4].
