Rachel Finnegan brought glue-girl guard value at San Jose State, with defense, rebounding, and playmaking
In the 2011-12 season at San Jose State, Rachel Finnegan averaged 2.7 points, 4.1 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.3 steals per game, which tells you exactly why coaches liked her: a tough, do-everything guard who helped in all the non-glamorous ways[1]. Her game was never about empty volume; it was about rebounding from the guard spot, creating for others, and bringing steady effort, plus she earned Academic All-WAC honors while at SJSU[1].
