A compact, versatile slot threat with proven special-teams value
At Campbell, Melvin Davis has been used as a flexible piece rather than a volume receiver, and in 2024 he appeared in four games and logged three special-teams tackles, which hints at a player the staff trusts for effort and assignment discipline. Listed at 5-foot-8 and 185 pounds, he brings a lower-center-of-gravity style that can help him play tough through contact and contribute in multiple roles. For a team needing competitiveness, reliability, and hidden-yardage value more than pure size, he looks like a useful fit.
