Sydney Rivers brings local grit and coach-trusted frontcourt depth to Southeastern Louisiana
Sydney Rivers is a 6-1 forward from Loranger, Louisiana who entered Southeastern Louisiana as a hard-working, locally developed post prospect and earned praise from coach Ayla Guzzardo for her dedicated offseason growth. In early team notes, Guzzardo said Rivers had the best offseason on the roster and had worked into a much bigger role, which is the kind of internal buzz that matters more than box-score noise. Her game profile fits a physical, team-first frontcourt piece: effort, rebounding, and program fit. She looks like a solid culture add for a staff that values work rate and development.
