Emerging Saluki LB with Untapped Potential?
Scott Bauer, a linebacker for the Southern Illinois Salukis, remains a developing talent with limited public stats or rankings available as of 2026, drawing from his high school roots with the McHenry Jr. Warriors where Hudl highlights showcased raw athleticism and tackling instinct. His differentiator lies in versatile intensity from multi-sport background—potentially mirroring Carthage's Chris Bauer's football tenacity—making him a high-motor fit for teams needing gritty, scheme-versatile defenders who play fast and earn respect quickly, much like recent Bucs rookie TE Bauer Sharp; watch for breakout in upcoming MVC action if he stays injury-free.
