Maliya Perry brings versatile wing depth and steady two-way utility for Dayton
Perry is a 6-foot guard/forward whose value comes from versatility, size, and dependable role-play rather than high-volume scoring; in the 2024-25 season, she averaged 2.8 points, 2.5 rebounds, and 0.5 assists while shooting 40.5% from the field[1], and Dayton’s roster notes show she delivered career highs in minutes, free-throw percentage, rebounds, and blocks while appearing in 24 games[4]. She looks like a fit for a team needing a long, adaptable wing who can defend, rebound, and do the dirty work, and Dayton’s own coverage highlighted a game where she shot 50% from the field and was perfect from three[2].
