Veteran Idaho State lineman Xavier Simms brings old-school grit
Xavier Simms is a seasoned Idaho State offensive lineman with proven conference recognition, earning Big Sky honorable mention in the 2004 season. He stands out for durability, line intelligence, and the kind of physical, assignment-sound play that coaches love in the trenches. The available record shows him as a two-year junior-college starter before joining Idaho State, which suggests experience and readiness rather than raw upside. If a team wants a dependable, hard-nosed blocker who does the dirty work without needing the spotlight, Simms fits the bill.
