Jason Ceneus brings veteran ball-hawking energy to Villanova’s secondary
In the 2014 season, Jason Ceneus stood out as a playmaker for Villanova, leading the CAA and ranking 14th nationally with five interceptions, and he also posted two fumble recoveries in a win over Albany[14][15]. Reports described him as having “outstanding cover skills,” with the inside track on a starting corner role, which is exactly the kind of disciplined, instinctive defender coaches love in a DB room[11][14]. If you need a defensive back who can create turnovers and survive on technique and feel rather than flash, Ceneus fits the bill[11][14].
