Jordyn Martin gives Northern Arizona a proven, hard-nosed frontcourt presence
In the 2014-15 season, Jordyn Martin earned Big Sky Defensive Player of the Year honors and finished ranked sixth in the conference in rebounding at 7.1 per game, a strong signal that his game was built on effort, toughness, and impact plays around the rim. He also showed real scoring pop in a 27-point outing against Southern Utah in 2016-17, so he wasn’t just a rebound-and-defense big—he could step up when NAU needed a bucket. That kind of physical, blue-collar forward profile is exactly the sort of player coaches trust when games get ugly.
