Rahman Hemmingway Brings Ball-Hawking Experience to Savannah State’s Secondary
Rahman Hemmingway is a veteran defensive back for Savannah State whose profile is built on steady coverage instincts and proven playmaking; in the 2011 season, he totaled 17 tackles, and in the 2012 season he added 29 tackles, two pass breakups, and 1.5 tackles for loss, showing he can help in both coverage and run support[3][6]. He also logged an interception in the program’s statistical history, which fits the kind of dependable, assignment-sound DB coaches like when they want a disciplined presence on the back end[2][3]. The catch: public current-season production data is sparse, so the best read is that he looks more like a reliable, experienced fit than a flashy headline machine[1][3].
