Veteran-Style Fullback With Defensive DNA
John Andrews arrived at Southeastern Louisiana with a grinder’s résumé: in the 2013 season at Cisco College, he logged 44 tackles, 6 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks, then earned Honorable Mention All-Southwest Junior College Football Conference honors. That background suggests toughness, versatility, and a physical edge that fits a team needing an old-school lead blocker who can bring special-teams attitude. He’s the kind of FB who helps in the dirty work—lower-body power, contact balance, and blocking urgency—rather than padding a stat sheet, which is exactly why coaches tend to love him.
