steady veteran guard with proven scoring touch
In the 2018-19 season, Jacob Holland gave Detroit Mercy a reliable veteran presence at guard, bringing scoring polish, size for the position, and leadership after transferring in with a résumé that included 14.7 points per game and 19 double-figure outings the prior season. He’s the kind of guard who can stabilize a rotation, stretch defenses with shot-making, and add grown-man experience to a young backcourt. For a team that needs a composed, older two-guard who can score without needing the spotlight, Holland checks a lot of smart-box criteria.
