Colorado State Guard Struggling in 2025-26 with Low-Output Production
In the 2025-26 season, Colorado State Rams guard Derrick Stevens is averaging modest 2.4 points, 1.0 rebound, and 0.9 assists per game on poor 25.6% field goal shooting (per ESPN stats), marking him as a bench contributor rather than a star. A former Rams point guard alum from the historic 2003 Mountain West Tournament upset squad (B.A. '04), Stevens brings veteran savvy, leadership, and program loyalty—now even coaching ex-Rams in TBT—but his limited scoring and efficiency make him a low-impact fit for teams needing immediate production over developmental grit.
