James Jennette brings veteran edge depth and steady production
James Jennette is a senior-ish, 6-4, 228-pound defensive lineman whose value is built more on steadiness and versatility than splashy box-score fireworks. In the 2024 season at Virginia Tech, he logged 4 total tackles and 1 sack across 10 games, and in 2023 he played 11 games with 2 tackles and 0.5 sacks, showing he can stay in the rotation and flash as a situational disruptor. He looks like a smart fit for teams wanting a reliable, experienced DL with length, functional pass-rush upside, and a transferable edge-body profile.
