Mary Blessing brings steady point-guard instincts and a winning-tablet of hustle to Toledo
Mary Blessing is a guard for Toledo whose profile points to a classic floor-general skill set: she has been credited with leading the Rockets in assists on 25 occasions and steals 12 times, while also scoring in double figures 10 times during her Toledo career notes. In the 2003 season, she was described as a senior point guard averaging 4.7 assists per game and 8.2 points, which fits a player who creates offense, pressures the ball, and keeps the team organized. That blend makes her valuable if a team wants toughness, tempo control, and a guard who can do the little things that show up on winning teams.
