Mike Shaw brings Florida State a disruptive interior presence with upside
I couldn’t verify a current 2026 statistical profile for a Florida State DT named Mike Shaw from the available sources, so this should be treated cautiously. If this is the Mike Shaw on FSU’s roster, the appeal is the classic interior-defender value: size, leverage, and the ability to clog run lanes while collapsing the pocket from the middle. That kind of player matters because it makes everyone around him better, especially on early downs and short-yardage snaps. If you want trench toughness and a blue-collar tone-setter, this is the right neighborhood.
