Campbell's Anchoring Center with Elite Post Presence
Lieset van den Heuvel serves as the Campbell Fighting Camels' defensive anchor and primary post scorer, bringing a rare combination of physicality and basketball IQ that elevates the team's interior defense. While official individual stats for the 2025-26 season are not yet fully aggregated in public databases, her role as a 6'5"+ center is critical to Campbell's 12-13 overall record, where she consistently draws double-teams and controls the paint. Known for her relentless intensity and calm demeanor under pressure, van den Heuvel differentiates herself through superior footwork and rebounding tenacity rather than just size. She is an ideal fit for teams needing a reliable low-post presence who can protect the rim and finish through contact, though her development in mid-range shooting remains a key growth area for the upcoming season.
