Massive, developmental Mississippi State OL with upside but no game action yet
Amari Smith is a 6-7, 325-pound redshirt freshman offensive lineman at Mississippi State who has not played in a game for the Bulldogs yet, so his value is still projection-based rather than production-based.[19] The key differentiators are his rare frame, which fits the SEC power game, and the fact that he is still early in his development as a college lineman; that makes him more of a traits bet than a finished product.[19] If you want a physically imposing blocker with long-term upside, he fits, but if you need immediate, proven pass-protection or run-blocking help, the current résumé is thin.[19]
