James Lee gives NJIT a steady, efficient backcourt presence with real two-way value
James Lee is a 6-foot-3 guard for NJIT who brings efficient scoring, solid rebounding for his position, and usable playmaking, with ESPN listing him at 7.9 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 2.2 assists while shooting 48.1% from the field. His value goes beyond the box score: NJIT’s roster lists him as a junior transfer from Salt Lake CC and Montverde Academy, which points to a mature, experienced player rather than a developmental project. He looks like a fit for teams that want size, toughness, and reliability in the backcourt, not just flash.
