College Sharpshooter Now Grinding in G-League with Wisconsin Herd
Onno Steger, a 6'5" forward from Western Carolina Catamounts, posted solid college stats in his final season (8.2 PTS, 3.5 REB, 40.2% FG across 32 games), excelling as a 39.8% three-point shooter on 3.1 attempts—highlighting his floor-spacing strength and rebounding grit for a wing. Now 28 and in the NBA G-League's 2025-2026 season with Wisconsin Herd (1.4 PTS, 0.5 REB in 11 games, 7 MPG), he's a developmental pro with overseas experience (Portugal). Care because his shooting touch and size offer upside for teams needing versatile forwards; a savvy fit for mid-major or G-League squads valuing hustle over flash.
