Joshua Hill brings veteran DB grit and proven playmaking to Alabama State
In the 2019 season, Joshua Hill was a preseason second-team All-SWAC defensive back for Alabama State, and his career stat line included 129 tackles, 5 interceptions, 10 pass breakups, and 2 fumble recoveries across 32 games. He stands out as a physical, experienced cover defender with special-teams value and ball skills, plus the kind of four-year consistency coaches love. The catch: the public record available here is mostly historical, so his current 2026 impact and health status aren’t clear. If you want a dependable, battle-tested DB with swagger and production, Hill checks real boxes.
