Veteran SWAC linebacker with a nose for disruption
Afu Okosun brings proven linebacker chops for Alabama A&M, with ESPN listing him at 5 tackles, 1 sack and 1 interception in the 2026 season. His calling card is old-school toughness: at 5-foot-9 and 240 pounds, he’s been described as a middle linebacker who sets the tone physically, and earlier Alabama A&M notes credited him as a top tackler and impact player in the SWAC. If you want a compact, downhill defender who plays with edge and has real production history, he’s the kind of glue-and-grit fit that can lift a defense.
