From BYU Game-Winner to Utah State WR Coach Extraordinaire
Skyler Ridley, a former BYU Cougars WR who appeared in 26 games from 2011-2013 with 59 receptions for 675 yards and 3 TDs—including a clutch game-winning score at Houston—has evolved into an elite FCS coach. At Weber State, he masterminded special teams dominance, coaching Abraham Williams to an NCAA-record four 100-yard kickoff return TDs in 2022 (only player nationwide with 3+), five All-Big Sky honorees, and contributing to nine straight winning seasons, four titles, and six playoff runs. Now Utah State's WR coach in 2026, his player development savvy, resilience (overcame scout team grind), and winning pedigree make him a program-changer.
