LSU’s fearless late-game engine
In LSU’s 2022-23 championship run, Alexis Morris was the kind of guard you want when the lights get hottest: she averaged 15.4 points and 4.1 assists in the season, then jumped to 16.8 points and 3.8 assists across six NCAA Tournament games, including 27 in the Final Four and 21 in the title game. Her calling cards are toughness, shot creation, and poise under pressure; the tradeoff is streaky perimeter shooting, but her intensity and big-moment confidence make her a strong fit for a team needing a battle-tested lead guard.
