T.J. Smith brings steady interior punch for Western Kentucky
T.J. Smith is a useful DL piece for Western Kentucky because he blends reliable run support with disruptive flashes inside, giving the Hilltoppers a sturdier front when he’s on the field. In the 2025 season, he logged 22 tackles and 1 sack, which hints at a player who does more than just occupy space—he can finish plays and keep blockers honest. He looks like a good fit for teams that value tough, assignment-sound defenders who play with effort and edge rather than pure hype.
