a booming-leg Coug punter with big-game pedigree
Kyle Basler’s Washington State profile is built on leg strength, consistency, and clutch special-teams value: he owns the school record for career punts and logged a 43.5-yard punting average in 2003, then 41.1 yards on 50 punts in 2004, with multiple 50+ yard boots and strong directional control. He’s the kind of punter who changes field position, not just makes stats, and he even earned co-MVP honors in the 2003 Holiday Bowl. If your team wants a battle-tested specialist with proven upside, Basler fits the bill.
