Ricky Conway gives The Citadel a versatile, low-drama backfield spark
In the 2023 season, Ricky Conway showed he’s more than a straight-ahead runner: he posted 57 rushing yards on 12 carries, added 32 receiving yards on five catches, and even completed a 17-yard pass, giving The Citadel a flexible utility weapon with upside in multiple phases of the offense. He’s a compact 5-foot-10, 180-pound graduate student with experience, special-teams value, and a knack for staying involved without putting the ball on the turf. The fit is appealing for teams that want a dependable, versatile RB who can motion, catch, and create a few extra edges on game day.
