Florida Gulf Coast guard with proven shooting pedigree
Butterworth profiles as a **shooting-minded guard** with a real high-school résumé: at Naples High, he was team MVP, finished 20th in Florida in three-pointers made, led his district in scoring, and ranked third in rebounding, showing he can impact games beyond just perimeter shooting.[1] FGCU’s roster bio also notes he earned All-County/All-Star recognition and honorable mention All-State honors, which points to a player with competitive edge and all-around production.[1] For a team, the appeal is a guard who can stretch the floor, score in bunches, and bring proven local pedigree rather than just empty highlight tape.[1]
