Jake Hutton brings Idaho State a versatile, no-nonsense back with real dual-threat history
Jake Hutton’s profile is a little tricky to pin down cleanly in current public data, but the usable stat trail shows a back with experience and versatility rather than splashy volume: in the 2010 season, he logged 34 rushing attempts for 92 yards and 1 rushing touchdown, and earlier in his Idaho State career he also handled quarterback duties in game action, which hints at toughness and adaptability. For a team, that kind of player fits best as a physical depth piece, situational mover, and low-maintenance competitor who can be trusted to do the dirty work.
