Lubos Barton Returns to Valpo as a Proven Connector and Player-Development Mind
Barton is not a current on-court Valparaiso player, but a returning Hall of Famer now serving on the Beacons’ men’s basketball staff as Director of Recruiting and Player Development. That matters because his profile screams culture-builder: a former pro wing with experience across top European leagues, he brings high-level basketball IQ, international perspective, and a developer’s eye for skill growth and roster fit. If you want a staff addition who can help identify talent, sharpen wings, and raise the daily standard, Barton is a smart fit—more “basketball grown-up” than splashy headline, which is often exactly what winning programs need.
