veteran Nevada DB with a long runway of experience
Daq Irby is a Nevada defensive back who brings veteran value more than flashy box-score noise, with roster history showing a position switch from linebacker to DB during his Nevada career and an academic all-conference nod that hints at reliability and discipline[2][5]. His appeal is the stuff coaches love: versatility, work ethic, and a player who has stuck around long enough to understand the details in coverage and special teams[2]. For a team looking for a steady, coachable defensive back rather than a pure splash-play merchant, Irby looks like a fit.
