Peter Schaefer brings veteran polish and swing-and-miss stuff to BC’s bullpen
In the 2026 season, Boston College graduate right-hander Peter Schaefer has already shown he can miss bats and handle leverage, including a two-inning, scoreless outing with one strikeout in BC’s win over Dartmouth[10]. He’s listed at 6-foot-0, 215 pounds and entered BC after a strong Johns Hopkins résumé that included a 2.10 career ERA and 83 strikeouts in 68.2 innings, with reports pegging him as a mid-90s arm with a nasty sweeper and changeup mix[4][14]. The fit is easy: experienced, sturdy, and built for outs, not drama[4][14].
