Gardner-Webb linebacker to watch for physicality and assignment discipline
Blackwell is a linebacker worth caring about because Gardner-Webb’s roster lists him at LB, but the available public data does not provide enough recent, player-specific production to verify his 2025-26 impact or rankings; that makes him more of an evaluation play than a stat-sheet star right now. For a team fit, the key question is whether he brings dependable run support, tackling consistency, and special-teams value, since those traits often separate rosterable linebackers from depth pieces when the box score is thin.
