Maine DL Raffaele Salamone is a steady, veteran depth piece with proven tackling production
Salamone is a long-tenured Maine defensive lineman whose value comes from experience, reliability, and finishing plays in support; in recent listed stats, he has 0.5 sacks, 3.0 sack yards, 2 tackles, 9 assisted tackles, and 0 passes defended, with the assisted-tackle total standing out as a sign of consistent involvement around the ball[1][4]. He has also been described as a leader on UMaine’s defensive line, and his extended run with the program suggests a player coaches trust for preparation and locker-room stability more than flashy box-score dominance[3][6].
