Mattox Meeks is a hard-nosed FGCU arm trending as a reliable middle-relief weapon
In the 2026 season, Mattox Meeks logged 18 2/3 innings with 17 strikeouts, only 5 walks, and just 4 earned runs allowed, a tidy profile for a right-handed reliever who can miss enough bats and limit damage.[1] FGCU game notes also show him handling multi-inning relief work, including 3 1/3 scoreless innings against Stetson and a scoreless three-inning outing against North Florida, which hints at durability and trust from the staff.[5][9] The only knock is some volatility in shorter relief appearances, but the overall read is clear: he looks like a sturdy, competitive bullpen fit with strike-throwing value.[11]
