veteran North Texas guard with efficient scoring chops and big-moment confidence
Kai Huntsberry brings a sturdy 6-3, 215-pound frame and proven guard production for North Texas, highlighted by his 2022-23 season line of 12.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, and 3.2 assists in 37 games while shooting 78.8% at the line. He’s the kind of player who can steady an offense, get to the rim, and deliver in pressure spots—he scored 21 in the Mean Green’s 2023 NIT championship win and repeatedly showed he can swing a game with toughness and composure. If you need a poised, physical backcourt piece with experience in winning basketball, he’s worth a close look.
