Ben Martin is a Nicholls legend, not a current Colonels guard
Ben Martin is not a current Nicholls basketball guard; he was a Thibodaux native who played for the Colonels from 2007-2012, appearing in 42 career games with 32 starts, so if you’re evaluating him as a present-day fit, that’s a roster-mix-up. In the 2011-12 season, his profile was that of a steady veteran guard who shot 32% from the field, 31% from three, and 76% at the line, with the bigger differentiator being experience and familiarity with Nicholls rather than elite box-score production.
