Callia Rooks brings veteran glove work and depth behind the plate for Alabama A&M
In the 2026 season, Callia Rooks is a senior catcher for Alabama A&M, and her value is built more on steadiness and experience than gaudy offensive numbers. The Bulldogs have used her as a reliable backstop, with strong defensive efficiency in the available stat feed and a long track record in the program since 2023. For a team, she looks like a fit if you want a composed veteran who knows the staff, handles the defensive grind, and adds organizational toughness—even if the bat has not been the headline.
