Reid Bauer brings proven leg strength and steady veteran reliability to Memphis’s punting game
Bauer is a dependable, experienced punter who has already shown he can handle volume and field-position work at a high level, including appearing in all 13 games for Memphis in 2023 and punting 44 times for 1,902 yards. ESPN lists him with 223 career punts at a 42.2-yard average, which points to a long-term track record of consistency rather than a one-season spike. He fits teams that value hidden-yardage control, composure, and a stable special-teams presence.
