Saint Francis LB with Early Promise from 2012 Freshman Campaign
Zack Gula burst onto the scene as a Saint Francis University Red Flash freshman in 2012, appearing in seven games with one start and tallying 17 tackles as an LB—solid production for a first-year player at the FCS level. His high school recruiting profile highlights versatility as a two-way starter at ILB and TE, earning All-Conference Top 24 Defense honors in Pennsylvania's Parkway Conference plus Scholar Athlete recognition, showcasing football IQ and work ethic. A gritty, multi-tool defender with tackling reliability; ideal fit for teams needing depth and developmental upside at linebacker, though limited recent data suggests checking transfer or pro paths.
