Carolina Ruiz Molina brings steady backcourt production and veteran playmaking to the Hardrockers
Carolina Ruiz Molina is a 5-foot-5 senior guard for South Dakota Mines who brings a crafty, high-IQ game and real passing juice to the backcourt. In the 2025-26 season, she has flashed playmaking upside, including an 11-point, 9-assist outing in a win at MSU Denver, and she has also produced double-figure scoring in key stretches. Her fit is strongest as a connector: a guard who can initiate offense, hit timely threes, and keep teammates involved. The tradeoff is size and turnover management, but the energy and touch make her a useful rotation piece.
